Meetings are informal, with plenty of discussion and relatively 
few outside speakers. A record of our Fall 2010 activity is

"Diffusion generated motion for grain growth and recrystallization".

thermal fluctuations to diffusive mass transfer".

March 21: Milena Chermisi (NJIT) will talk about
"Singular perturbation models in phase transitions for second order
materials," (joint work with G. Dal Maso, I. Fonseca, and G. Leoni)

Oct 4: Peter Bella. Title: "Wrinkling as a relaxation of
compressive stresses in thin elastic films"

Oct 25: Bob Kohn discussed a recent preprint of Hohlfeld
and Mahadevan, which links creasing of an elastic body to the 
failure of "quasiconvexity at the boundary"
