Jan 31: Matthew Elsey (University of Michigan) will talk on
"Diffusion generated motion for grain growth and recrystallization".

thermal fluctuations to diffusive mass transfer".

March 7: Sal Torquato (Princeton University) will talk about
"Unusual ground states of matter".

March 21: Milena Chermisi (NJIT) will talk about
"Singular perturbation models in phase transitions for second order
materials," (joint work with G. Dal Maso, I. Fonseca, and G. Leoni)

approach to shape formation in elastic bodies with prescribed
Riemannian metrics"

Oct 4: Peter Bella. Title: "Wrinkling as a relaxation of
compressive stresses in thin elastic films"

Oct 25: Bob Kohn discussed a recent preprint of Hohlfeld
and Mahadevan, which links creasing of an elastic body to the 
failure of "quasiconvexity at the boundary"
