Abstract:

I will describe some recent and less recent applications of properties
of high dimensional Euclidean spaces in the construction of graphs and
hypergraphs with surprising properties. These are useful in the study
of problems in communication and in the investigation of extremal
problems for graphs and hypergraphs.
