Instructions for Use

Tecplot is located in /opt/tecplot on the Suns
The executable is located in /opt/bin
Be sure to include /opt/bin in your path (How-to)
Tecplot will run on any of the Suns
To run type: tecplot
Note for first time users of Tecplot10:
If your ~/.cshrc file does not contain the line:
source /usr/local/lib/.system.cshrc
either add this line to the beginning of your .cshrc file (Attention: See note about this) or
add to your .cshrc file the following 2 lines to run tecplot:
setenv TEC100HOME /opt/tecplot
setenv TLMHOST '@128.122.157.6'
Then run:
source ~/.cshrc
tecplot

Selecting "Help" => "Contents", from the Tecplot Menu,
will give the help documentation in your web
browser.

Hints
- For
writing Tecplot Macro Instruction scripts:
Use: File/Macro/Record to record your actions when using
Tecplot.
This will create a Macro instruction file which can be used as a
basis for other Macro scripts.
