Education

Ph.D., Mathematics, Steklov Institute of Mathematics, Russia, 1974.
Diploma, Mathematics, Moscow University, Russia, 1970.

Research Interests

My research areas include algebraic geometry, number theory topology, and complex geometry. Recently I was working on the structure of the Galois groups of functional fields, birational properties of algebraic varieties and theory of symmetric differentials on surfaces.
