Periodic Dispersive Equations and Invariant Measures

Synopsis:

In this talk, we first review some of the recent advances in the definition of Gibbs measures associated to certain periodic dispersive equations and their invariance.  Then we analyze the second equation in the hierarchy of Hamiltonian flows related to the  1D cubic  NLS as an integrable system. This equation is a complex-valued mKdV. For it, we define an infinite family of weighted  Gibbs measures and we prove their invariance.
