Work Opportunities in the Math Department
Interested students should complete the grader/tutor/TA application. We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2024 grading, tutoring and recitation leader positions.

All summer 2024 positions have been filled. We are no longer accepting inquiries or applications regarding summer 2024 positions, thank you.
Graders
Paid grader positions are available for advanced undergraduate math students. Graders assist faculty with grading homework problems for undergraduate mathematics courses. All grading positions are in-person only.
Applicants must have completed and received a grade of A in Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics.
Experience in Honors Calculus III and/or Honors Linear Algebra is preferred.
Undergraduate Tutors
Paid tutoring positions are available for advanced undergraduate math students. Tutors assist undergraduate students seeking tutoring assistance in foundational math courses. All tutoring positions are in-person only, unless specified by the Math Department upon hiring.
Applicants must have completed and received a grade of A in Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Analysis, and Algebra.
Experience in Honors Calculus III, Honors Linear Algebra, Honors Analysis I and/or Honors Algebra I is strongly preferred.
Recitation Leader (TAs)
Paid recitation leader positions (TAs) are available for graduate and PhD students ONLY. Undergraduate students are not eligible for recitation leader positions. Recitation leaders work alongside faculty to lead weekly recitations, office hours, assignements, quizzes and exams. All recitation leader positions are in-person only, unless specified by the Math Department upon hiring.
Applicants must have exceptional academic performance in foundational AND advanced level undergraduate math courses from their undergraduate years.
Strong performance in graduate level math courses is preferred. Previous grading and/or tutoring experience in mathematics is strongly preferred.
