Recent results on Ginzburg-Landau Vortices

Synopsis:

We present some recent results on the (linear) stability of
vortices for the relativistic Ginzburg-Landau equations.
In particular, we will give a description of the spectrum of the
linearized operator at a vortex, a precise Fourier representation for
the linearized flow, and quantitative decay estimates. This is based on
joint work with J. M. Palacios (EPFL).
