Asymptotic Geometry of Two-Dimensional Self-Shrinkers

Synopsis:

In this talk, I will discuss some recent progress towards a conjecture of Ilmanen on the asymptotic structures of two-dimensional self-shrinkers. In particular, under a spectral assumption, I will show the boundedness of second fundamental form (and thus a sheeting theorem) of two-dimensional properly embedded self-shrinkers in a tubular neighborhood of a ray.
