Conductive homogeneity of compact metric spaces and the construction of p-energy

Synopsis:

 In this lecture I will discuss the construction of a new kind of Sobolev space on metric measure spaces.  These Sobolev spaces make it possible to define a diffusion process on many new types of self-similar spaces, as well as to define a p-energy as a scaling limit of discrete p-energies on a series of approximating graphs.
