Stability of Ricci flow and application to existence of steady solitons

Synopsis:

In this talk, we will discuss existence and stability of Ricci flow coming out of spherical polyhedra which preserve curvature positivity and symmetry. As an application, we produce steady Ricci soliton with general symmetry group. This is based on joint work with Pak-Yeung Chan and Yi Lai.
