Euclidean distortion of quasisymmetrically Hilbertian metric spaces

Synopsis:

In this talk, we will discuss quantitative bounds on bi-Lipschitz embeddings of certain finite metric spaces into Euclidean space. We will see some ideas in the proofs as well as some geometric and algorithmic applications. 

This is joint work with Assaf Naor and Kevin Ren.
