Mathematical Finance & Financial Data Science Seminar
Leveraging “Nowcasting frameworks” across a dynamic recovery within fundamental research
Speaker: Dan Duggan, Vice President · Global Investment Research Goldman Sachs
Location: Online Zoom access provided to registrants
Date: Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 5:30 p.m.
Synopsis:
Massive shifts within an uneven pandemic recovery continue to upend traditionally stable consumer and business trends. We identify “fundamental frameworks” than span across text-driven, digital and geo-spatial dimensions. These, combined with alternative data, help quantify effects as they relate to company positioning within a rapidly evolving environment.
