Mathematics Colloquium

I will describe a few inverse problems in physical geometry, along with some (partial) solutions. These include designing kirigami tessellations to reshape planar domains,  designing metrics to create flowers and faces, and designing  origami fold patterns to convert flat sheets into complex shapes.
