Flows of squared Bessel processes naturally appear when describing the genealogy of a continuous population with immigration. They can be constructed as the local times of a particular process called perturbed reflected Brownian motion. In a joint project with Yueyun Hu and Zhan Shi, we draw on this construction to study various questions related to these flows: duality, link with the Fleming-Viot process and Jacobi flows, duality of Jacobi flows, connection with Bass-Burdzy flows.
