Algebraic Geometry Seminar
Koszul Homology and Knot Invariants
Speaker: Eugene Gorsky, Columbia University
Location: Warren Weaver Hall 317
Date: Tuesday, September 17, 2013, 3:30 p.m.
Synopsis:
I will discuss two Koszul complexes associated with non-regular systems of equations which describe certain arc spaces. The homology of the first complex is related to the colored HOMFLY invariants of torus knots, while the homology of the second one conjecturally matches Khovanov homology. The talk is based on joint works with P. Etingof and I. Losev, A. Oblomkov and J. Rasmussen.
