Existence of a Ground State and Scattering for a Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation with Critical Growth

Synopsis:

This talk concerns the focusing energy-critical nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a mass-supercritical and energy-subcritical perturbation. In particular, we consider the existence of a ground state and the scattering problem in the spirit of Kenig-Merle.

This is a joint work with Akahori, Kikushi and Nawa.
