C^1 isometric embedding of the hyperbolic plane

Synopsis:

In this talk, we will construct an embedding f of a closed disk in R³ whose restriction on the interior of a disk is a C¹ isometric embedding of the Poincaré disk and which is, on the closed disk, beta-Hölder for any 0< beta <1. In particular, this embedding has an embedded closed curve of Hausdorff dimension 1 as limit set.
