Student Probability Seminar
Stochastic heat equations in higher dimensions
Speaker: Alexander Dunlap, NYU Courant
Location: Warren Weaver Hall 1314
Date: Monday, April 24, 2023, 3 p.m.
Synopsis:
I will give an introduction to the phenomenology of heat equations forced by random noise in spatial dimension d≥2. I will also describe some results about long-time behavior of such equations (which is dimension-dependent), and some open questions.
