Strichartz estimates on irrational tori, and applications

Synopsis:

Recently, Bourgain-Demeter proved the optimal L^p Strichartz
estimates on general tori. It turns out that for generic irrational tori,
these estimates can still be improved, namely that they are satisfied on
long time intervals depending on the frequency. We will propose a
conjecture on the optimal time length, prove partial results in this
direction, and discuss applications to controlling growth of Sobolev norms
for NLS. This is joint work with P. Germain and L. Guth.
