Speaker: Scott Armstrong, Courant (NYU)
Location: Warren Weaver Hall 1302
Date: Friday, April 22, 2022, 11:15 a.m.
Abstract: I will give an overview of the theory of quantitative homogenization, and attempt to explain why we should care about it, and where the field is going. Hopefully (most of) the talk will be understandable to beginning graduate students.
Pizza and drinks will be served after the talk!
