Math at Tandon

Tandon BS/MS Program

Undergraduates with strong academic records in certain programs may apply for admission to the BS/MS Program, which leads to the award of both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from NYU Tandon. While still undergraduates, this program allows students to make steady progress towards completing the two degrees for a lesser cost. 

Students interested in pursuing the BS/MS program with an MS in Mathematics are advised to consult with their major advisor as soon as possible, and no later than the start of their junior year of study.

Eligibility

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better
  • Junior academic level (Term Start) as stated in Albert at the time of the application deadline
  • External transfer students and students pursuing a second bachelor's degree are not eligible to apply. Internal transfer students may be considered for the BS/MS Track on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must be a current Tandon student. Former Tandon students and students from other NYU schools are not eligible to apply.
